As a Laboratory Technician working onsite in the Resin QC Laboratory in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality assurance and research settings. In the QC team, you will validate raw material and finished good samples, identify result abnormalities, mitigate risk of defective material, and aid in the support of our continuous improvement and projects. Reporting directly to the Quality Laboratory Manager as a Laboratory technician you will be learner and collaborate within the QC team and across multiple teams.
Shift: This is a full-time position operating on a 12-hour shift schedule . Candidates must be available to work nights, weekends and additional overtime as dictated by business and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot batch QC result abnormalities
Test all production samples following SOPs as defined, performing test methods, and recording all test results
Support project and continuous improvement work to help maintain project timelines
Understand customer requirements and determine adjustments for batches
Collaborate with other QC teams, production, and technical groups to independently disposition batches
Maintain all laboratory equipment and perform required calibrations as assigned
Use immediate production and project need to prioritize daily activities
Maintain lab ancillary inventory, daily material stocking needs, and contribute to 6S
Understand and maintain Delaware's Quality Management System requirements
Support Departmental X matrix action items as assigned
Complete development plans and develop RCA tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering
1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience to apply laboratory methods.
Work weekends as dictated by business need
Work additional overtime as determined by business and project needs
