Sales Onboarding Specialist Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in retail sales, sales training, or a related field
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement, and closing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable delivering training in both one-on-one and group settings
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced retail environment
Sales Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:
- Deliver a 34 week in-person onboarding program covering sales process, product knowledge, and closing techniques
- Conduct real-time coaching and shadow sessions to reinforce best practices
- Evaluate and certify new hires through assessments, role-playing, and skill demonstrations
- Lead monthly regional training sessions and ongoing development opportunities
- Train associates on goal setting, commission strategies, and performance metrics
- Manage LMS content, track training progress, and ensure compliance across regions
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance training content and delivery methods
