Our client, a leader in high-tech electronics manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Writer or Jr Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the Engineering Support Department, you will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to create comprehensive product documentation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies, aligning seamlessly with the organizations innovative culture. This position is onsite in north Phoenix.
Job Title: Technical Writer Jr Electrical Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $30-35/hr DOE plus OT/Benefits
What's the Job?
- Develop detailed product documentation including user manuals, technical guides, and assembly instructions for complex thermal control systems.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs to create and edit technical documents efficiently.
- Use basic camera equipment to capture images for inclusion in technical materials.
- Interpret technical procedures and build processes to produce clear, precise documentation that supports product development and customer use.
What's Needed?
- Recent degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, or related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic technical knowledge of assemblies, procedures, and electronic systems, with a keen interest in high-tech consumer electronics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to actively engage with technical teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
