The Area Human Resources Project Manager supports the Securitas Area leadership team by planning, coordinating, and implementing key HR initiatives and projects that strengthen compliance, streamline processes, and enhance the overall employee experience. This role serves as a project leader and subject matter expert for HR-related systems, process improvements, and policy rollouts across the Area, ensuring alignment with Securitas corporate HR strategies and standards.
This position requires a strong background in human resources and project management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with operational leaders, branch HR representatives, and corporate partners. The role is focused on driving consistent and efficient HR practices across the Dayton and Dublin, OH offices, as well as client sites. While your primary office will be in Dublin, OH, weekly to bi-weekly travel to Dayton is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Implementation:
Lead and coordinate area-level HR projects and initiativessuch as policy updates, compliance audits, HR system rollouts, and workforce planning activitiesin alignment with corporate HR directives. - Process Improvement:
Assess existing HR workflows and identify opportunities for greater efficiency, standardization, and consistency across the Area. Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve service delivery and compliance. - HR Program Support:
Support the execution of key HR programs, including performance management, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives, ensuring consistent application across all branch locations. - Compliance & Policy Administration:
Partner with Area HR leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as Securitas policies and client-specific requirements. Conduct periodic audits and develop corrective action plans where needed. - Data Management & Reporting:
Compile, analyze, and present HR metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, diversity, training completion) to support business planning and operational decisions. - Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as a liaison between branch HR teams, Area operations, and corporate HR departments. Develop communication plans and training materials to support rollout and adoption of new programs or system enhancements. - Change Management:
Drive change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of new HR initiatives, maintaining alignment with Securitas mission, values, and commitment to employee engagement and development.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred. - Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a project management or HR leadership role.
- Experience in a multi-site, service-based organizationpreferably within the security, staffing, or contract services industry.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus).

Work Environment:
