Job Title: Help Desk Technician/System Administrator Location: New Albany, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time About Us: We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Technician/System Administrator to join our team and help us maintain our IT infrastructure and provide excellent support to our employees. Job Summary: The Help Desk Technician/System Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person. Troubleshoot and triage and escalate to resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment. Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of IT systems. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Image computers and complete post-image configurations. Perform regular system backups and data recovery operations. Document technical procedures and provide training to end-users. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and IT projects. Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Ensure employee satisfaction through active listening, efficient issue resolution, follow-ups, and feedback analysis to improve processes and services. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician, System Administrator, or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office365. Experience with network administration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-oriented and patient. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to travel between locations (New Albany, Newark, Blacklick and occasionally Connecticut) Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
