We're currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager II located in Harrisburg, PA .

Overview:
The current opportunity and subject of this posting is anticipated to be eighteen (18) months to twenty-four (24) months in duration and located between Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.

Required Education:

• Preferable that candidates have four (4) years in architectural or engineering studies from an accredited institution with an understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms.

OR

• Candidates with two (2) years of on-the-job training, with relevant studies in building codes and procedural steps.

Required Qualifications:

In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in vertical and/or flat work construction
• Candidates shall demonstrate direct experience in various aspects of construction - either vertical or flat installations up to and including startup to commissioning, and closeout.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring contractor performance, ensuring quality material and workmanship are by plans and specifications
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an aggressive and rapidly growing firm is a must

Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with the contract documents including plans and specifications, quality assurance requirements, etc.
• Monitor construction progression for contract compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed records of material deliveries and materials installed in place.
• Record observations of field activities on a daily basis, if assignment is site specific.
• Coordinate component and/or system testing including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing acceptability, ADA related issues.
• Perform other duties as needed

Salary:

• $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
