Positioon Summary

We are seeking a Veterinary Dental Technician/Veterinary Assistant to join our growing dental team. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care for our referral patients, contributing to our mission of exceptional veterinary service. This is a first shift, Monday - Friday position.

Responsibilities

• Assist our board-certified veterinary dentist during dental procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment in an aseptic manner.
• Take dental X-rays and ensure proper imaging techniques are used.
• Dental Prophylaxis
• Educate pet owners on dental health and proper care for their animals.
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of dental treatments and patient information.
• Assist with laboratory work related to dental cases as needed.
• IV catheter placement
• Recovery
• Patient discharge
