About the Role

Bay Property Management Group Northern Virginia is expanding and looking for an energetic Licensed Leasing Agent (Leasing Consultant) to join our property management team!
If you’re motivated by sales, love working with people, and want a flexible career in real estate, this is the perfect fit.

You’ll handle marketing, showings, and leasing for a portfolio of apartments and single-family homes throughout Northern Virginia. This position is 100% commission-based and offers total freedom in schedule and location — perfect for self-driven professionals who want to grow in the real estate industry.

What You’ll Do

• Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, and text.

• List and market available properties across rental platforms.

• Conduct property showings and highlight features, amenities, and local community benefits.

• Guide applicants through the leasing process — applications, screenings, and lease signings.

• Coordinate tenant move-ins and complete pre-move-in property inspections with photos.

• Communicate professionally with property owners, managers, and tenants.

• Maintain accurate records of listings, leads, and leases.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Real Estate License (required)

• Must maintain memberships with NVAR, Sentrilock, and MLS (agent covers fees)

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and personal cell phone

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Sales-focused mindset; goal-oriented and persistent

• Excellent communication, follow-up, and time-management skills

• Ability to work during regular and non-traditional hours

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
