Product Owner - Distribution Management & Logistics

1. Develop new concepts for products and features in alignment with the objectives of the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) and assess the products progress with input from Delivery Leads

2. Create user stories to share the Products development and progress against business outcomes with Business Executives and the Project Leadership, prioritize all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with the ETG strategy.

3. Responsible for strategic and technical execution (end-to-end) of business user stories and coordinate the Business Process Governance with the right stakeholders.

4. Provide constructive feedback, ideas to improve the development and requirements process, celebrate hard work and individual and team success within the ETG organization.

5. Comprehend key business objectives and requirements of a product to make final decisions on functionality.

6. Provide feedback of the work to the Product Manager to help them define a product differentiation strategy.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams/processes to ensure a shared understanding of requirements for successful implementation, including program management, process management, data management, change management, and customers.

8. Work in partnership with process owners to ensure the process is executed appropriately during project initiatives (Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Planning/Manufacturing/Inventory, Acquire to Retire, and Record to Report)

9. Understand what is important to the customer, data standards, process standards, EHS/regulatory statutes; collect feedback from users and incorporate user feedback to enhance product features and usability.

10. Understand and support inter-team dependencies and escalate issues with the coordination of the product manager.

11. Groom the product backlog, breaking down features and estimating user stories.

12. Track the progress towards the release of a product and keep the project and process teams appraised of the same and alert of any potential risks or issue with scope, missing requirements or delays.

13. Communicate the product vision, roadmap and business intent to the Scrum/development team and ensure close collaboration with the development team.

14. Coordinate with development team, set and communicate release date and scope.

15. Provide support to users of the ERP system, including troubleshooting problems, answering questions, and providing training recommendations.

16. Deliver comprehensive product training that aligns with the organization's change management plan.

17. Coordinates cross functionally with other Operations and Supply chain teams to ensure alignment.

18. Prepare and plan budgets to determine how to use company resources to launch new initiatives.

19. Standardize the logistic flow of jobs within the manufacturing workshops (launching & Gantt, work ticket, job tracking wide spectrum)

20. Become familiar with any boundary application (non-ERP software) in which the product team is responsible for delivering functionality.

21. Work collaboratively with the Continuous improvement (CI) team to ensure processes are executed and improved.

22. Animate the local experts community (Key users, SMEs) to ensure the processes enrichment and the enhancements of the IT solution.

Preferred:

Six Sigma, Lean training, Agile experience, JIRA experience, Oracle Cloud/R12/11i experience, shipping experience, warehouse management leadership, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

a. Required:

Prior Operations and Order to Cash experience.

Prior knowledge of key process and technical products within Warehouse Management, Shipping, Transportation, Product Data Management.

Knowledge of ERP operating systems tools and databases

Experience working with Oracle systems, transportation planning systems or warehouse management systems.

Experience with, and strong understanding of Product Ownership for Agile Scrum Teams

Proven ability to analyze complex cross functional business process and defining integrated user stories using industry standard techniques

Experience working as part of an Agile Release Train in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

b. Preferred:

Basic understanding of warehouse management, shipping, transportation or logistics methods and best practices.

Basic understanding of shipping documentation, export documentation and/or trade compliance regulations

Ability to define KPI's across warehouse and shipping functions

Experience in an agile delivery framework, or requirement development or Product Owner role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences

Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations

Ability to work in distributed teams and develop multi-level relationships

Proven ability to manage dependencies and shifting priorities

Ability to support multiple projects, facilitate meetings, and follow up action items

Ability to lead and influence without direct authority

Ability to utilize Continuous Improvement tools and processes

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Excellent communication skills to be able to influence peers and executives, as well as external partners

Experience defining and leading the delivery of an API portfolio that is consumable by both internal and external parties.

Strong work ethic demonstrated attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.

Ability to listen to and understand business needs.

Knowledge of warehousing and shipping best practices

Familiar with facilities of varying sizes and complexities

Experience with both physical and cycle counting processes

Six Sigma certification a plus

Oracle WMS or Oracle OTM experience a plus
