Job Summary:?
This position is responsible for performing scheduled equipment maintenance, ranging from minor repairs to major services. The Forklift Division offers a comprehensive lineup of new material-handling equipment across California, designed to perform in a variety of environments such as indoor warehouses and distribution centers to construction sites and port facilities.

As a Forklift Mechanic, You Will:

• Inspect, service, and repair forklifts and farm equipment.
• Disassemble, overhaul, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems, and other components related to material handling or farm equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs, ranging from minor to major services.
• Utilize all tools of the trade, including precision instruments, welding equipment, shop machines, overhead hoists, and power tools for adjustments and repairs.
• Accurately complete all required internal and customer documentation, including work orders, safety inspections, and timesheets.
• Maintain company equipment and tools in compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Provide and maintain up-to-date personal tools of the trade.
• Keep work and supply areas clean and organized; follow all company safety rules and procedures.
• Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• Must have mechanical experience in one or more areas: automotive, diesel and or forklift
• One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Five plus year's forklift equipment experience or equivalent education and experience
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction
• Valid California driver's license/good driving record
