Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Maintenance Manager by conducting technical assessments, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Serve as a technical expert for Maintenance Technicians, offering guidance in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Design, modify, and improve electrical and control circuits for existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize AC/DC control circuits, PLCs, microprocessor-based systems, and power distribution pane
• Program and maintain PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and HMI modules.
• Design and construct electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct daily safety and functionality checks on equipment and document all maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Provide feedback to engineering on equipment design improvements and performance optimization.
• Respond promptly to production line trouble calls to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in assigned maintenance projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with GMP, SOP, and OSHA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, automation, or industrial controls.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and process control diagrams.
• Skilled in ladder logic programming, PLC troubleshooting, and VFD setup and repair.
• Proficient with RSLogix, ControlLogix, and SLC/MicroLogix platforms.
• Experience with 480V motor wiring and 120V/24V DC motor control circuits.
• Ability to diagnose and repair PLCs, controllers, and variable frequency drives.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix, ControlLogix, and PowerFlex systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, servo systems, and process instrumentation.
