Plant Quality Manager Tier-1 Automotive

Location: Southeast of Indianapolis, IN | On-Site | Full-Time
$110K$130K Base + Full Benefits + Relocation Support
U.S. Work Authorization Required (No Sponsorship Available)

Were hiring a Plant Quality Manager for a flagship Tier-1 automotive facility outside Indianapolis. This is a confidential, high-impact role leading plant-wide quality initiatives, managing internal systems, and owning customer relationships.

This role has direct visibility to both regional and global quality leadership , and is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments focused on continuous improvement, systems compliance, and team growth .

What Youll Own (not all required experience)
  • Lead and execute the plants quality strategy in alignment with corporate and customer expectations

  • Represent customer quality requirements internally and ensure theyre implemented on the floor

  • Drive continuous improvement , audit readiness, and regulatory compliance (IATF, ISO)

  • Define and monitor key quality KPIs , reporting to both site and corporate leaders

  • Oversee supplier quality programs in collaboration with purchasing and engineering

  • Develop, lead, and mentor the site quality team , including staffing and process development

  • Serve as the escalation point for product nonconformances and enforce quality holds when needed

  • Maintain and improve the Plant Quality Management System , including document control and records

What You Bring (flexible)
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferred depending on experience)

  • 5 years of plant-level quality leadership or 5-8 years of plant-level quality engineering experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001/45001 or equivalent systems
