At CESO, a Senior (Sr) Engineer applies advanced engineering principles and practices to projects of varying complexity and specialty across all engineering disciplines. This position involves advising and consulting across the entire organization for broad program areas or specialized areas with innovative or critically important aspects. The Sr Engineer supports teams in high-level designs and quality control reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction documentation, specifications, and design solutions. Additionally, the Sr Engineer provides technical advice, mentorship, and coaching to junior engineers, fostering a positive work environment and professional development.Primary Responsibilities Assist team members by providing technical direction. Independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria based on sound engineering principles. Use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments. Accountable for QC reviews of technical and civil engineering documents for the project design team, focusing on compliance with codes and constructability. Motivate team members through mentoring, coaching, and training. Evaluate Company standards and provide feedback and suggestions to improve internal tools, processes, and principles. Perform detailed site design work on a variety of projects and prepare reports, studies, and project documents (as required). Conduct field site visits to obtain necessary data. Provide advanced technical expertise and support for specialty items and advanced designs. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Minimum of 12 years of experience is required. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required. Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, BlueBeam Revu, HydroCAD and other applicable design software.
