Dental Hygienist (Long Grove, United States)

We're searching for a hygienist who values quality care, great teamwork, and making real connections with patients.

• $50-$55+ per hour based on experience
• Full-time schedule designed to meet the needs of our surrounding community:
• Monday: 10 am - 7 pm
• Tuesday: 10 am - 7 pm
• Wednesday: 7 am - 2 pm
• Thursday: 7 am - 2 pm
• Friday: Closed
• Saturday: 7 am - 2 pm
• Sunday: Closed

• Provide preventive and periodontal care (scaling, root planing, fluoride, sealants, whitening)
• Collaborate with Dentist on diagnosing treatement.
• Support treatement case acceptance through patient education, follow-up and warm case handoffs to assistants or front office.
• Educate patients on brushing, flossing, appliance care, and periodontal health
• Take x-rays, perform periodontal screenings, and assess oral health
• Document findings, treatment, and patient history accurately
• Observe and report any signs of distress or medical concerns
• Maintain clean, sterilized treatment rooms
• Collaborate with a respectful and supportive dental team

Requirements

• Active Dental Hygiene License in Illinois
• Local Anesthesia Certified, preferred but not required
• Laser Debridement Certified, preferred but not required
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Great with patient education and communication
