The essential job responsibilities of the Training and Development Specialist 3 are to perform advanced level professional duties to facilitate, assess, design, develop, coordinate and / or implement training and intervention programs for educational / career development, counseling and training of Division employees.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Training and Development Specialist 3 role, you must:
-Have a Master's degree in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Human Resource Development, Business or related
area with 5 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design and development, evaluation/testing, or organizational development plus 12 post graduate hours in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Human Resource Development, Business or related area OR a professional certification by the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).
-May require fluency in Spanish.
-Have successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job.
-Have a valid driver's license from state of residence.
Physical Working Conditions:

Works inside under good conditions. Subject to standing for long periods of time while instructing classes and light lifting of training materials/equipment.
