Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize menus across multiple healthcare facilities
- Research culinary trends and translate them into patient-appropriate offerings
- Create seasonal menus that balance nutrition, taste, and dietary restrictions
- Oversee food service operations across assigned facilities
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, food safety standards, and HACCP procedures
- Manage food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Lead, train, and develop culinary teams across multiple locations
- Conduct regular facility visits to maintain standards and provide support
- Collaborate with site managers and healthcare administrators
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation standards
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements
- Ensure proper nutrition standards for various dietary needs
- Develop culinary programs that support patient healing and satisfaction
- Participate in budget planning and P&L management
- Support business development initiatives

Requirements
- Associates or bachelors degree from an accredited culinary program plus 5+ years experience as a sous or executive chef in fine dining, hotels/resorts, country clubs, or healthcare/senior living
- Extensive background in culinary management, food safety, and nutrition.
- Ongoing training or certifications in food safety (ServSafe Manager or equivalent) and allergen awareness.
- Business acumen training (finance, P&L management, supply chain, and leadership development) is highly valuable.
Not Required But a Big Plus
- Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
- Familiarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with HACCP procedures
