General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a fantastic small animal hospital that has been proudly serving the pets and people of Broward County, Florida, since 1979. They are seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This full-service hospital offers high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for dogs and cats, built upon a long-standing reputation for compassion, trust, and excellence in client relationships.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide exceptional medical and surgical care to companion animals, from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to more complex procedures. Responsibilities include operating diagnostic equipment, interpreting findings, maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating clearly and compassionately with clients. The role also involves guiding pet owners through treatment options, offering nutritional and preventive care advice, and providing end-of-life care when needed. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are passionate about building lasting client relationships and delivering high-quality patient care.

Practice Details
This full-service practice provides a wide range of veterinary services including nutritional counseling, behavioral medicine, microchipping, vaccinations, parasite control, pain management, senior care, ultrasound, and hospice/euthanasia services. The hospital features a fully stocked pharmacy and advanced diagnostic tools to support comprehensive care. Their long-standing commitment to personal service and community trust reflects a practice culture rooted in compassion and integrity.

Team
The hospital is home to two experienced DVMs supported by a great team of veterinary professionals who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
