Agency Overview

The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) is responsible for maintaining the historic character of Capitol Square while providing for the health, safety and convenience of those who work in and visit the complex. CSRAB is charged with interpreting the role of Ohio's Statehouse in national and Ohio history, to celebrate its art and architecture and to highlight its ongoing impact on the daily lives of Ohioans and thereby inspire all Ohioans to participate in state government.

Statehouse Mission

The mission of the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board is to facilitate the operation of state government, preserve the historical integrity of the Capitol Square Complex and educate visitors about the history of Ohio and civics.

Job Duties

We are looking for a capable Groundskeeper that can perform the following duties:

Mowing

Trimming

Blowing

Spraying

Fertilizing

Aerating

Seeding

Pruning

Weeding

Edging

Planting

Mulching

Trash Pickup

Empty Trashcans

Sweep Stairwells

Blow Off Sidewalks

Leaf Removal

Snow Removal

Salting

Raising and Lowering Flags

General Equipment Maintenance

Qualifications

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division; at least one year of experience in a variety of landscape maintenance duties (including watering, mowing, weeding, trimming, renovating and fertilizing lawns, planting, pruning, staking, watering and maintaining landscaped areas consisting of bushes, trees, flowers and shrubs, etc.). Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment not listed above.
