Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electronic systems, is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to join their team. As an Automated Test Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Test Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams including sustaining engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop automated PCBA functional circuit tests and testing equipment.
  • Create and update test fixtures and software to improve testing capabilities.
  • Develop detailed design documentation, including schematics, wiring lists, and manuals for users and developers.
  • Collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams to ensure test fixtures meet specifications.
  • Identify and implement improvements in test system designs for greater efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting and developing PCBA functional circuit test solutions.
  • Proven experience with automated testing in PCBA environments.
  • Knowledge of National Instruments hardware, instrumentation, and software.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TestStand, LabVIEW, and C.
