Job Description
As the Senior Treasury Analyst for The Shyft Group (An Aebi Schmidt Group Brand) in Novi, MI, you will be responsible for leading the Companys North American Treasury activities including the management of cash and investments by overseeing daily operations of cash position, cash forecasting and banking relationships. Collaborate across departments to support treasury initiatives and improve the efficiency of processes across North America.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cash positioning, funding, and cash forecasting to ensure liquidity. Monitor the disbursement cycle, cash collections, and cash trends.
- Manage banking relationships, including account setup, fees, services, and compliance.
- Lead administration of cash management, including but not limited to user access, ACH/Wire processes, sweeps, wires, etc., and reconciliation of cash balances (daily, weekly, and monthly)
- Develop and maintain financial models to support cash forecasting, debt compliance, and other treasury activities.
- Cooperation with Group Treasury department in Zurich
- Credit card program administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of cash reporting
- As part of the Shared Service NA Team, work with Accounting team members (GL, AP and AR) for related cash activities, providing accounting support, JEs and/or other department requirements.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics
- 2-5 years experience, preferably 1-2 years of each accounting and treasury cash operations
- Knowledge of treasury, cash management, cash receipts and disbursement processes, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Progressive business experience with demonstrated high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including using it to analyze and manipulate large data sets
- Above-average business acumen; understands business implications of decisions
- Self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills
