The HRIS Analyst is responsible for planning, project coordination, and ongoing administration of the Human Resources Information System. This position analyzes HR requirements and implements innovative technology solutions as well as manages the technical configuration of Human Capital Management (HCM), Benefits, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Compensation and Performance Management suites.
This role is primarily remote occasionally onsite in our Corporate Office in Plano, TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Maintain system database files, data feeds, dashboards, workflow and analytics of HRIS modules/applications.
- Assist with the design, selection and implementation or modification of HRIS and other HR computer solutions.
- Create and update process workflows, configuration, coding, formulas and notifications to applications as needed.
- Manage day-to-day system activities to support HR and users. Serve as liaison between internal users and external vendors and HR team members.
- Assist with system implementations, integration with internal and external technologies, partnering with HR team to create end user training and provide ongoing technical support and maintenance.
- Work with outsources and third party providers to create integration and interfaces. Test and maintain system interfaces as needed.
- Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements related to recordkeeping and reporting.
- Act as primary contact with the software provider and coordinate testing and implementation of system upgrades and integrations.
- Ensure proper security measures of human resources and employee information are met; evaluate and audit security management on regular basis to ensure compliance.
- Set up and assign user roles, permissions, and account logins in accordance with company and HR security guidelines.
- Manage user systems access including addition/removal of roles, permissions and security.
- Identify and develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Advise management on new technological developments.
- Manage maintenance and accuracy of employee data for reporting and distribution.
- Develop and monitor dashboards, metrics, database reports and automated data feeds.
- Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues.
- Create and track service requests. Monitor known system bugs and resolution.
- Provide end user notifications as needed for upcoming upgrades, scheduled maintenances, and technical concerns/outages.
- Work closely with users to support, train, and improve system functionality.
- Routinely audit systems to ensure key HR data controls are functioning correctly
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Information Technology or Human Resources required. Combination of education, specialty certifications and experience in related area will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Three plus (3+) years of related IT/HRIS experience providing support in Human Resource environment.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and understanding of large-scale enterprise systems such as Oracle, ADP, or Ceridian required. Certification preferred. Coding knowledge a plus.
- Experience in supporting a variety of HR applications including: human capital management, benefits, talent acquisition, compensation and performance.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC HR related applications required within 90 days of hire.
