Fashion and Licensed Accessories Designer

GMA Accessories/Concept One Accessories is the premier resource for licensed fashion accessories.  We have licenses with some of the best-known fashion brands including True Religion, Kenneth Cole, French Connection and others.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking multifple experienced Fashion and Licensed Accessories Designer to design men’s and women’s headwear, cold weather accessories, bags, and belts.  The position is based at our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

• Market research of fashion trends in the accessory categories for men and women
• Design and tech fashion forward and innovative products
• Review samples, make comments and revisions
• Attend buyer or licensor meetings as necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned Communicate and work closely with cross functional teams (product development & sales) on concepts, ideas and inspiration for designs

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience designing fashion accessories
• Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and able to work as a part of team
• Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and able to maintain deadlines
• Strong eye for color and trends

Salary: Ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually.

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
