KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support new model development and trial schedules through technical planning and execution
Analyze scrap and manufacturing defects to identify root causes and develop cost-saving solutions
Provide technical insight on inventory, manufacturing costs, and capital investment planning
Participate in capital projects, including the installation and optimization of new equipment and processes
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability
Use process simulation and monitoring tools to ensure performance and consistency across molding operations
Provide hands-on technical support to production, process, and maintenance teams to reduce downtime
Lead process development for new models, including tooling design, robot programming, and validation
Ensure molding processes meet performance, quality, and safety standards through continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
5–10 years of hands-on experience in injection molding and robotics
Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex molding systems and optimize production processes
WORKING CONDITIONS
Approximately 3 hours/day in an office environment and 5 hours/day on the production floor
Exposure to cranes, robotics, and molding machinery (PPE required)
Must be available for off-shift work and limited travel (≈3 days/month)
