KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support new model development and trial schedules through technical planning and execution

  • Analyze scrap and manufacturing defects to identify root causes and develop cost-saving solutions

  • Provide technical insight on inventory, manufacturing costs, and capital investment planning

  • Participate in capital projects, including the installation and optimization of new equipment and processes

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability

  • Use process simulation and monitoring tools to ensure performance and consistency across molding operations

  • Provide hands-on technical support to production, process, and maintenance teams to reduce downtime

  • Lead process development for new models, including tooling design, robot programming, and validation

  • Ensure molding processes meet performance, quality, and safety standards through continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in injection molding and robotics

  • Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex molding systems and optimize production processes

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Approximately 3 hours/day in an office environment and 5 hours/day on the production floor

  • Exposure to cranes, robotics, and molding machinery (PPE required)

  • Must be available for off-shift work and limited travel (≈3 days/month)
