Responsibilities:

• Assist with month end closing
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
• Perform financial analysis for the operation leaders
• Assist in the month-end and quarter end procedures
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify/facilitate opportunities for improvement of financial processes
• Involved in the development, use, and application of updates to the planning and forecasting software
• Reconciliation of our quarterly physical inventory of equipment
• Develop a standardized monthly branch income statement analysis template and initiate branch-level financial analysis
• Assist the Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis with annual budget preparation
• Forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow using historical data
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting to support decision-making
• Build financial models and assess profitability for new products and business initiatives
• Monitor standard costs, material usage, and overhead absorption

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
• 3+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in industrial or public accounting settings.
• Strong ERP system proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL experience is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
