Optician Store Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join as a Store Manager / Optician at a retail eyewear location in Arcadia, CA (Shops at Santa Anita).

About the Position

• Type: Full-time, Exempt

Essential Functions

The Store Manager oversees and coordinates operations, including accounting and finance, sales activities and goals, employee supervision, customer service, inventory control, and other administrative functions. The role also provides support to the District Manager and ensures the store maintains the highest standards of customer service.

• Manage and monitor daily store operations to ensure excellent customer experiences.

• Handle customer concerns with professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

• Ensure speed, efficiency, and accuracy in creating eyewear products.

• Foster a warm, collaborative, and engaging workplace.

• Conduct regular meetings with staff to align on goals and customer service improvements.

• Provide training and support to all team members while leading by example.

• Adjust, fit, and assemble eyeglasses to meet customer needs.

• Drive team commitment to service excellence and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required; Associate degree in opticianry or related education preferred.

• ABO Certification required.

• 1+ years of retail store management experience.

• 2+ years as an optician in a retail or optometrist’s office.

• Flexible schedule availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $69,000–$89,000 annually
