Job Description


Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· Provide program oversight and act as single-point interface between customer and ATS for all Tier II suppliers supporting the contract.

· Work closely with site maintenance and storeroom to ensure zero stock-outs of repairable parts.

· Process and manage all repairable parts within scope of this agreement at all vendors.

· Expedite and follow-up on all orders with various suppliers.

· Identify and capture warranty savings for supplier parts which have failed within the terms of their warranty.

· Assist in the identification, solution and implementation of RCA activities for customer.

· Barcode all parts with unique ATS barcode stickers.

· Identify all parts within the repair process.

· Maintain historical data to improve failure analysis, identify opportunities to increase part performance and tie failures to customer assets to reduce machine failures.

· Pick-up and/or disperse repairable inventory and parts as appropriate.

· Provide data to assist in making stock-level decisions to ensure adequate stocking levels while minimizing inventory levels.

· Identify, maintain and report all performance metrics designed to drive activities which support overall program performance and customer cost-savings to ATS and in some cases to customers.

· Identify additional opportunities within customer facility to increase ATS sales.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:

· Associates Degree with 5 to 7 years of experience.

· Previous experience working in a factory environment

· Strong customer service and intermediate sales skills

· Ability to recognize part numbers and to distinguish among different types of parts on a basic level

· Proficiency with computers and inventory/maintenance applications

· Previous experience and documented results with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, KANBAN, or JIT

· General understanding of ATS product and service offerings

· Ability to set min/max levels and make appropriate financial decisions

· Present to small group of people

· Maintain calm and professional demeanor in a highly stressful environment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, or sit for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
