The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Case Manager & Administrative Coordinator to support the mental health and well-being of over 1,000 Division I student-athletes. This hybrid role will provide individualized case management services while also supporting the administrative functions of the Sport Psychology and Wellness Services (SPAWS) team. The successful candidate will be organized, empathetic, and capable of navigating the unique culture of collegiate athletics with professionalism and discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Public Health, Higher Education, or related field.
2+ years of experience in mental health case management, care coordination, or student support roles desired.
Strong understanding of mental health systems and confidentiality standards (HIPAA/FERPA).
Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to support a diverse student-athlete population.
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including scheduling, data tracking, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
