RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.
- Oversee the set-up and operation of assigned team on 1 st shift.
- Make informed, intelligent decisions and improvise in the absence of instruction.
- Ensure standard work, policies, and procedures are followed by all employees.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to maintenance, determine the cause of performance gaps using collaborative data knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
- Document/report all production, quality requirements and any performance gaps.
- Maintain inventory control and transactions across manufacturing.
- Ensure team leaders are effect and owning their production units.
- Track employee timecards, punctuality, records and address all compliance issues.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Ensure your team is compliant with all the organizations safety and performance policies.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews on your team members according to the companys 6 core values.
- Conduct applicable corrective actions, coaching sessions and encourage accountability.
- Set and maintain standards of excellence for your team to follow.
- Meet daily production goals for your team and recovery plans to meet monthly targets.
- Conduct hiring interviews to build a high-performance team.
- Drive continuous improvement for all processes, 5S adherence, and weekly production audits.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4 + Years of manufacturing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Experienced in Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS.
- Ability to handle difficult discussions with employees and able to find resolutions for all parties.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and has excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience with reading electrical schematics and drawings systems like PD cloud.
- Able to work OT when production demand requires it.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean manufacturing experience
