General Practice (Veterinarian)

Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established general practice that also provides daily urgent care and walk-in services. With a strong reputation in the local community and a loyal client base, the hospital is committed to delivering high-quality care across wellness, dentistry, surgery, and urgent medical needs.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care, including physical examinations, surgeries, dentistry, diagnostics, and client consultations. Strong client communication and education are essential parts of this role. Responsibilities include generating and presenting treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the development of the paraprofessional team. Candidates should be experienced and dedicated to practicing the highest standard of medicine while treating each patient and client with compassion and respect.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, cytology, endoscopy, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, therapeutic laser, acupuncture, and digital dental radiography. Services offered include urgent care, surgery, wellness visits, dental hygiene, diagnostics, vaccinations, spay/neuter, senior care, exotic and pocket pet medicine, and behavior and nutrition consultations. The hospital has a strong culture of excellence, with an appreciative and compliant clientele, and is consistently recognized for its service in the community.

The hospital has 5 DVMs supported by a dedicated and highly skilled support team. The environment is collaborative and patient-centered, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, client education, and delivering the highest quality care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
