General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Grass Valley, CA, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established practice. The hospital has been providing veterinary care since 1956 and is committed to delivering high-quality medicine and surgery while building strong, lasting relationships with clients.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care in a busy, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, emergency care during hospital hours, geriatrics, and end-of-life care. Surgical procedures may include spay and neuter, C-sections, ocular procedures, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, cystotomy, amputations, and dental surgery. This role is best suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide range of services, including wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, geriatrics, puppy and kitten care, hospice and end-of-life care, and professional boarding for cats. Facilities are designed to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical services, ensuring accurate and effective treatment for patients.

Team
The hospital has a team of three DVMs working alongside an experienced technical support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
