General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited practice in Westlake Village, CA. This small animal and exotics practice is led by a dedicated Medical Director and hospital manager who have fostered a positive, team-focused culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and high-quality veterinary care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgeries, and engaging in client communication and education to promote preventive health care. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian who values a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.

Practice Details
This hospital is a full-service, AAHA-accredited facility equipped with modern technology including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, a dental suite with digital dental radiography, and laser therapy. Services offered include anesthesia, surgery, dental care, microchipping, wellness exams, preventive care for dogs, cats, and exotics, rattlesnake vaccination, senior wellness, pain management, urgent care, and animal poison control. The practice emphasizes a collaborative, growth-focused culture with a strong commitment to patient care and client education.

Team
The practice currently has 1 DVM supported by a skilled and dedicated support team, creating a collaborative and mentoring environment where veterinarians can thrive.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
