Position Summary

Experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk responsible for fulling the shipping and receiving responsibilities listed below. Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the below list.

Job Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.

Job Responsibilities

Package parcels for safe shipment.
Organize incoming material.
Match machine drawings with incoming raw material.
Timely shipment of outgoing orders
Maintaining shipping supply inventory
Confirming receipts and shipments in ERP system
Load trucks using forklift.
Complete Bill of Ladings
Ship parcels using UPS and FedEx software.
Obtain quotes and schedule LTL/Truckload shipments.
Effectively communicate with suppliers and customers
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Maintain fleet vehicle maintenance.
Complete NAFTA or other paperwork required for international shipments.
Operate forklift weight scales.
Maintain/track material certs according to ISO procedures.
Operate location scanning system.
Weigh and log scrap materials for recycling.
Have general understanding of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of shipping restrictions (heights, weights, widths, etc.)

Environmental Health and Safety

Understand the Companys EHS Policy and how it relates to this job.
Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Companys Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.
Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures.
Immediately notify the Supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS procedures.
Attend required EHS training.
