Automotive General Manager (Wichita, KS)

Location: Wichita, KS
Compensation: $200,000$250,000 (includes base, guarantee, and percentage of gross profit) + car allowance

Were seeking an experienced, dynamic General Manager who thrives on leading high-performing teams, driving sales, and enhancing customer experiencesboth digitally and in person. How Youll Drive Impact

As General Manager, youll lead both the strategic and operational success of a multi-brand campus. Youll guide sales and service leaders, oversee customer experience initiatives, and implement performance systems that strengthen both people and profit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through strong sales leadership, digital operations, and service lane initiatives.

  • Structure deals, increase PVR, and maintain profitability across departments.

  • Coach, train, and develop sales managers and support teams with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Set, monitor, and achieve monthly and annual performance goals.

  • Oversee inventory management and ensure process adherence across variable and fixed operations.

  • Strengthen OEM relationships and enhance brand reputation.

  • Lead customer engagement initiatives to lift CSI scores and enhance retention.

  • Develop and monitor budgets, KPIs, and performance standards across sales and service.

  • Partner with leadership to design and implement sales and phone training programs.

  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience across every touchpoint.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success as a leader within the automotive industry.

  • High CSI scores and experience in F&I, sales management, or general management.

  • Strong understanding of both fixed and variable operations.

  • Experience structuring deals and achieving profitability goals.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to coach, mentor, and elevate team performance.

  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed targets and strengthen OEM partnerships.
