Compensation: $18 to $26 per hour Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our company. You will work with clients to gather all necessary documents, complete income tax documents, file returns, and check financial statements for errors. Our ideal candidate is an Enrolled Agent (EA), but we will also consider applicants with at least 3-5 years of tax preparation experience. You must have a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) to apply for this role.

Tax Preparer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returns
• Check documents for errors
• Meet with clients
• Perform other duties as necessary

Tax Preparer Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
• Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Annual Federal Tax Refresher (AFTR) (preferred)
• Enrolled Agent designation (preferred)
• Bookkeeping experience
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Bilingual communication skills a plus

Salary/Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
