Job Description
Glenville State University invites applicants for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Biology. The successful applicant would teach courses in introductory biology as well as cell physiology, neurobiology, molecular ecology, genetics, and other courses depending upon interests and expertise.
Examples of Duties:
- Teach 12 credit hours of undergraduate coursework per semester, including both lecture and laboratory sections of courses.
- Advise undergraduate students.
- Serve on campus committees.
- Engage in scholarship and professional development activities.
- Assist in the recruitment of students.
Typical Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in zoology, molecular biology, or a similar field of biology is required. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach a breadth of biology courses.
