Position Summary

We are seeking a Surgical Tech for our surgery center who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality patient care. Work Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am - 4pm

OFF Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Roles and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate necessary practical, technical and specialized skills required for the role of the surgical technician in accordance with AST.
• Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments.
• Ensure that surgical asepsis is maintained in the handling of instruments, sponges, sutures, drains, needles, and dressings.
• Assist in the turnover of the OR suites between cases.
• Prepare procedure room for use the following day.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• One-year experience in an operating room setting required.
• Progressive job history with minimum changes and progressive growth.
• Self-Motivated with problem-solving skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member
• Punctual and Dependable

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Scrub Technician Program Certification preferred.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
