Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician-3rd Shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of operation and quality within our facility. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance data, providing a safe working environment, and empowering high morale among our team.

Position Hours: Full-Time, Hourly Wage

Shift Description: Monday-Thursday 6:00 PM-6:00 AM

                            Monday-Wednesday 6:00 PM-6:00

                            (Rotating work schedule of 44/36)

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain manufacturing equipment, offices, and warehouse facilities
2. Ensure all maintenance is in accordance with OSHA safety procedures
3. Communicate effectively with manufacturing personnel regarding maintenance, repairs, projects, and modifications
4. Perform maintenance within set budgets and assist in planning department projects
5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
6. Make decisions regarding maintenance, repairs, modifications, and projects
7. Assist with machine startup, shutdown, and line breaks as needed
8. Work closely with quality control teams to maintain machine efficiency and quality
9. Ensure all maintenance work meets OSHA safety procedures
10. Participate in emergency response and evacuation plans
11. Monitor and improve environmental impacts on the job

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalency
• 1-3 years of mechanical or multi-crafted experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Basic math skills including multiplication, decimals, and conversions
• Understanding of product quality specifications and methods
