Role as an Internal Medicine Registered Veterinary Technician
You’ll work closely with our boarded internal medicine doctors to manage complex, chronic, and multisystemic cases. This position is perfect for a detailed oriented and inquisitive technician who finds fulfillment in collaborative case management and patient advocacy.
You’ll use your expertise to:
- Assist with advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, and aspirates
- Manage hospitalized patients with long-term or complicated medical needs
- Monitor subtle changes in patient status and communicate them clearly
- Educate clients about chronic illness management and follow-up care
Role as a Cardiology Registered Veterinary Technician
As a key member of our Cardiology team, you’ll help deliver thoughtful, skilled care to patients with heart and vascular conditions. This role is perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about patient comfort and long-term management of cardiac disease.
You’ll use your expertise to:
- Assist with cardiac diagnostics, including echocardiograms, ECGs, Holter monitors, and blood pressure measurements
- Administer and monitor cardiac medications and therapies
- Deliver patient care tailored to the unique needs and limitations of cardiac patients
- Educate clients on home care, diagnostics, and chronic disease management
Requirements
Required: Current RVT License and Registration with DORA.
Preferred: College (AS/BS/BA).
Preferred: Minimum of 5 years' experience as an RVT, preferably in a specialty.
Preferred: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in specialty.
Preferred: BLS/ALS CPR certifications.
Schedule
Typical schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This role is physically active and fast-paced. You’ll need to:
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Kneel, stoop, crouch, and be on your feet for long periods
Operate medical and office equipment
Work around biological hazards and cleaning agents
Communicate clearly in noisy environments
