Join Our Team as an Optometric Technician / Ophthalmic Technician!

Keystone Eye Care Group LLC in York, PA is seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician / Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As a member of our practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside top ophthalmologists and optometrists in the field, providing exceptional care to our patients.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform visual field testing and other ophthalmic testing
• work up patient, history taking and other tests before seen by doctor
• Conduct lensometry and contact lens fittings
• Assist with autorefractor and tonometry procedures
• Conduct refraction and keratometry tests
• Assist with dilation and scribing during examinations

Required Skills: Helpful but will train if needed

• Experience in optometry or ophthalmology is preferred but will train
• Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician or Assistant, not mandated but helpful
• know how to take blood pressure
• Proficiency in IOLMaster and refractometry will train if needed
• Ability to perform topography and intraocular pressure measurements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with ophthalmic equipment such as autorefractors
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems
• Ability to assist with cataract scheduling

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $30,000.00

Maximum Salary: $40,000.00
