Dental Hygienist

Hudson Valley Dental TMD & Facial Aesthetics LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a leader in the TMJ Pain, Botox, IV sedation,4- and All on X , we value teamwork, talent, honesty, and dedication. Under the medical direction of board-certified Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine, Dr. Leon D James, DDS,MBA ,MS our staff is highly trained to address any of your dental concerns. You'll be in the best hands with us!

Daily Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis and fluoride treatments Conduct periodontal charting and scaling & root planing Assist chairside with procedures and provide oral hygiene instruction Take digital x-rays and administer local anesthesia Utilize VELscope and DIAGNOdent for oral examinations

Required Skills: Registered Dental Hygienist with CPR/BLS certification

Experience in periodontics and preventive care

Proficient in sealants, nitrous oxide, and anesthesia

Ability to perform X-rays and provide preventive treatments

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills

: Familiarity with dental software systems

Experience in cosmetic dentistry

Knowledge of dental implants and restorative procedures

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from 40-60/ hour, based on experience.

We offer flexible schedules, vacation leave, sick leave, and holiday pay to support your work-life balance.

Days:

Monday 9 am-4:30 pm

Tuesday 9 am-4:30pm

Thursday 9am- 4:30 pm

Saturday: Once a month

More days will be available in the future
