Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Lead/ Turret & Laser Lead/  / CNC Laser Operator Lead/ CNC Production Lead for our client located close to Huntsville; AL. In this hands-on lead role, you will coordinate daily workflow, train operators, and assist with production to ensure quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow scheduling using the Work Center Dispatch Report.

• Train and assist operators with set-ups, tooling changes, and safe equipment operation.

• Operate CNC Laser and Turret Punch machines as needed.

• Read and interpret blueprints, follow routers, and perform basic math calculations.

• Maintain production records, update computer systems, and complete required paperwork.

• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment safety.

• Communicate daily progress and issues with Operations Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of Turret and Laser machine operation experience.

• Prior leadership or lead operator experience.

• Strong blueprint reading and measuring tool skills.

• Ability to lift 20–50 lbs occasionally and stand for long shifts.

• Must pass drug screen/background check.

• Steel-toe boots required.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday

• Pay: $24.00 – $27.00/hr (based on experience)

• Overtime available
