Salary: $50,539.44 - $73,385.74

Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, a part of the New Jersey Department of Health and the Division of Behavioral Health Services, is looking for an Electrician. Under direction of a supervisor, does varied types of work involved in the installation, inspection, repair, servicing, and maintenance of electrical equipment, appliances, machinery, and circuits; does related work as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience in work involving the installation, inspection, repair, servicing, and maintenance of electrical equipment, appliances, machinery, and circuits.

LICENSE:  Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required experience may substitute a current Electrical Contractor license issued by the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs for three (3) years of experience.

NOTE: Appointees may be required to pass a colorblindness test.

All new hires are expected to attend a mandatory two week orientation on the day shift.
