General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital hiring for a part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join its thriving team. The hospital delivers comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals and has been serving its community for 35 years.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time scheduling with no weekend or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will manage a broad caseload in general practice and has the opportunity to focus on areas of interest such as internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, or specialty services. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, urgent care, surgical procedures, dental care, diagnostics, and end-of-life care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available and access to board-certified specialists in radiology, dermatology, and surgery.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, therapy and surgical lasers, and Isoflurane anesthesia. Services provided include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, specialty services such as laser therapy, advanced diagnostics, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, and an in-house pharmacy. The practice culture emphasizes client education, Fear Free handling, and delivering exceptional veterinary care.

Team
The team includes two DVMs supported by credentialed technicians and Fear Free certified staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, offering professional development and a supportive atmosphere for veterinarians at any stage of their career.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
