Senior Accountant / CPA

We are seeking an effective, responsible and experienced Senior Accountant/CPA with superior attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical and planning skills for our Holdrege, Nebraska office.

CPA or Enrolled Agent required. Five years of relevant work experience in public accounting preferred. Strong computer skills including QuickBooks, CCH Axcess and Thomson Reuters software experience a plus.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Review and preparation of tax returns
• Tax planning and projections
• Tax research, resolution and correspondence
• Financial statement preparation
• Manage client requests and deliverables
• Assist staff with technical questions
• Ensure quality standards are maintained

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting
• CPA or Enrolled Agent
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, including GAAP
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Team mentality and positive attitude
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
