We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate, and reliable Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team! If you love kids, have strong customer service skills, and want to make a difference while advancing your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Details

• Current Opening: Experienced Dental Assistant for a busy pediatric dental office
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years preferred
• Have flexibility to work a few later afternoon shifts during the week
• Must be able to work 2–3 Saturdays per month, 8 AM–1 PM
• Schedule released 2–3 weeks in advance
• Location: Must be able to commute to all 3 of our Kansas City area offices:
• Independence, Waldo, and Midtown (All on the Missouri Side)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for treatments/checkups
• Assist dentists with 4-handed dentistry
• Set up, sterilize, and maintain instruments/equipment
• Provide oral hygiene & post-op care instructions
• Keep treatment rooms clean and stocked
• Assist with lab tasks

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven dental assistant experience (pediatric experience a plus)
• Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Coronal polishing certification a plus
• Computer literacy (dental software experience preferred)
• Excellent communication & people skills
• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and reliable
• dental assisting school preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA) are an asset
