Are you looking to be a part of a dynamic team in the Concrete industry? Red Oak Concrete, a division of Red Oak Land Works, is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team in Greenville, SC. As a Concrete Finisher at Red Oak Concrete, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in residential communities and commercial developments across the Upstate and surrounding communities. Alongside our incredible partners, we develop both residential and commericial sites, to include installing curb, sidewalks, driveways, and slabs.

The Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete surfaces in accordance with project specifications and company quality standards. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Place, spread, level, and smooth concrete using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Finish surfaces by troweling, floating, edging, and brushing to achieve specified textures.
• Apply curing compounds, sealants, or protective coatings as required.
• Set, align, and secure forms to ensure proper grade and elevation.
• Experience in commercial construction and concrete finishing
• Knowledge of waterproofing, grouting, and reinforced concrete
• Familiarity with structural steel framework and general construction practices
• Ability to use software tools such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and SAP2000
• Strong understanding of construction management and paving techniques
• Monitor the effects of weather conditions on curing and adjust processes accordingly.
• Collaborate with other crew members and supervisors to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Comply with company and OSHA safety policies at all times.

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a concrete finisher or equivalent role.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of concrete mix designs, finishing techniques, and curing processes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Salary and Benefits:

• $24.00/hr to $30.00/hr
