General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team treating cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion. This position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate is an experienced, creative, and driven veterinarian who is looking to join the team and guide a talented and dedicated staff to the next level. All candidates must demonstrate strong guidance and leadership as well as proficient surgical skills.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of clinical duties including wellness, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The practice has been serving the surrounding community for 25 years and has recently relocated into a great new facility. In 2023, the hospital was awarded the Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorites award. Within the new facility, the team offers modern equipment and technology including cloud-based patient tracking, ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, separate dental and surgical suites, and a new IDEXX in-house lab. The practice is AAHA Accredited and FearFree Certified.

Team
The hospital has 2 DVMs supported by a strong team of support staff who provide great assistance at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
