Our client is a veterinary hospital in Templeton, California, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their close-knit and collaborative team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The role is full-time and offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with a healthy balance between medical excellence and personal well-being.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care for cats and dogs, including routine wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. The position also offers the opportunity to develop or expand skills in areas such as surgery or ultrasound, with strong mentorship and training available. The hospital values veterinarians who are compassionate, communicative, and enthusiastic about contributing to a positive and supportive work culture. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and early-career doctors seeking mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital features a bright, modern facility designed for both comfort and efficiency. It is equipped with IDEXX in-house laboratory capabilities, digital radiography, dental radiology, ultrasound, and ECG, along with dedicated surgical and dental suites. Unique features include an outdoor exam area, taking advantage of the region's mild climate. Services offered include comprehensive preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and advanced imaging.

Team
The hospital is currently home to three DVMs supported by a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The practice fosters a culture that balances clinical excellence with empathy, humor, and teamwork, offering strong mentorship for newer veterinarians and a supportive environment for experienced doctors.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
