Our client is a hospital seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Oncologist to join their specialty and emergency team. This multi-specialty center delivers advanced veterinary care and is known for its supportive, collaborative culture where clinicians work together across disciplines to provide outstanding service to patients and clients.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, with more limited hours on Thursday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday from 6:00 pm to midnight.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is for a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Oncologist. The role involves working alongside a multi-specialty team and emergency clinicians to provide high-level Internis services. The collaborative nature of the hospital means an integrated approach to diagnostics, case management, and patient care. The role is open to specialists with advanced training in Oncology.
Practice Details
The hospital spans 8,500 square feet and features a CT scanner, digital radiology, ultrasound, intensive and oxygen units, a ventilator, advanced in-house lab diagnostics, and a pharmacy. The hospital offers services in emergency care, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and critical care, maintaining a high standard of patient management within a technologically advanced environment.
Team
The hospital is home to three DVMs and a skilled team of veterinary specialists. The environment emphasizes support, mutual respect, and enjoyment of the workplace, encouraging collaboration among board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
