Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital in Irvine, California, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their supportive and collaborative team. The hospital is AAHA accredited and provides advanced veterinary care using modern technology and facilities in a recently renovated building.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. This is a full-time position, with scheduled hours consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week. The role requires working at least one weekend day in addition to weekdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to cats and dogs, with the option to expand into exotics if desired. Clinical responsibilities include advanced dental care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, digital radiology, echocardiography, EKG, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and stem cell therapy. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship to support their professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital was renovated approximately six years ago and is equipped with laparoscopic surgery capabilities and hands-free radiology. Services include preventive wellness, advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and specialty-level treatments. The AAHA accreditation reflects the hospital's commitment to excellence and high standards of patient care.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs, a hospital manager, and dedicated support staff. The hospital fosters a collaborative culture where team members work closely together and frequently participate in team events, including monthly potlucks. Candidate Requirements

Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
